After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed for sightseeing of Cochin. First visit the beautiful St. Francis Church, India’s oldest European church built in 1503 by the Portuguese settlers. The church once marked the grave of the famous Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama, which was later transferred to Lisbon. Then, visit Fort Kochi, a testament to rich Portuguese past, a thriving city once, is now lined with old houses and ruins of the fort. Next visit the 450 year old Jewish synagogue, India’s oldest active synagogue, built in 1568 by Jewish settlers. Its beautiful interiors include antique Belgian chandeliers and lamps and exquisite Chinese floor tiles, among others. Later, visit one of Cochins’ most popular attractions of the Chinese fishing nets. These huge shore operated life nets are at least 10 m high and 20 m horizontally. It’s said that these nets were introduced by a Chinese explorer. Break for lunch, before embarking on a scenic drive to Munnar. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight stay is at hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for Munnar tour. Munnar is a sight to behold with exquisite natural beauty. Visit the lush and vast tea gardens; spend time at the scenic Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, the serene Kundale Lake, famous for the rare Neela Kurinji flowers, which blooms once in twelve years, and Rajmalai.

Post breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Thekkady, a place blessed with elephants, unending chains of hills and aromatic spice plantations. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Later, visit the Periyar National Park, one of the best wildlife sanctuary in India, spanning an area of 935 sq. km and replete with scenic beauty and rich biodiversity, set high at the Western Ghat Mountain ranges.

After breakfast at hotel, check-out and take a journey to Kumarakom, a scenic village located on Vembanad Lake. Upon arrival at Kumarakom, proceed straight to Kumarakom bird sanctuary, a haven for many exotic bird species and a paradise for bird lovers.

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Alleppey that is also known as Allapuzha, and often called “Venice of the East” owing to the stunning backwaters, lagoons, lakes and houseboat.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and leisure time on the houseboat. Check-out, then get transferred to Cochin airport to board a flight to your onward destination.
