After your pick up from the hotel, we will be driven towards Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, the world's largest masonry dam built over the Krishna River in the Nalgonda district of Telangana. The dam attracts a great number of tourists owing to its great magnificence as well as the dense greenery surrounding, which offers a captivating view.
After the sightseeing, visit the Nagarjunakonda Museum, situated in the historical town of Nagarjunakonda, which was once a major Buddhist center. The museum showcases a great collection of various Buddhist structures and artifacts excavated during the construction of the dam. The beautiful collection features panels carved with Jataka tales, stone idols of Lord Buddha, weapons and equipment belonging to the Stone Age, as well as old inscriptions, etc.
After a day of sightseeing, we will be driven back to the hotel.
